BEGINNING ISRAELI FOLK DANCE

LOCATION -- Temple Emanu-El, 1010 University Avenue, San Jose, CA 95126

WHEN -- First and third Tuesdays of the month from 7:30-9:00 pm. If there is a 5th Tuesday in the month, we usually dance then too. I have an email list and send out a reminder the Sunday or Monday. If you'd like to be on that email list contact me. We don't dance on Jewish holidays.

This is small class of 15-25 dancers who want to learn the basic steps used in Israeli folk dance and the dances for beginners. A few experienced dancers come for the exercise or to learn a dance they might not know. New dancers are always welcome. No partner is necessary, although I do include a handful of couple dances in the repertoire.
